About Us
It All Began In 1953…
Henry Bergquist, the grandfather of Bruce Davis, bought the store in 1953. He wanted to establish a community hardware store to help the growing community of West Seattle. Three years later, his daughter and son-in-law Norma and John Davis bought the store from him. Fast forward 71 years and the Davis family is still serving the community of West Seattle through it’s dedication to providing a well-equipped, friendly, family-oriented store.

Bruce Davis
John’s son Bruce took over running the store in 1986 and continues to guide it through the new century.

In 2003, Brian started learning the business from his dad Bruce and is currently the General Manager.
